Glad you guys did a defenders episode ! I remember at the time having a sense that this album didn’t have the weight that screaming did. I don’t think love bites went over well at the time. I think Powerslave was a stronger album overall compared to defenders. I’m with wadzilla about rock hard ride free. I thought it was a bit generic. I don’t think I was even a big fan of jawbreaker at the time I have later become accustomed to this album of great priest guitar tones 🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟
